MaD asked to help ''Refresh the Vision'' 27/1/10

MaD to support regeneration of Wolverton

 

Make a Difference have been invited to work on the consultation process for Wolverton to help ''Refresh the Vision'' for the regeneration strategy of the area. Having already delivered many positive activities in the area, MaD has contributed significantly to the development of culture in Wolverton. Danny Quinn, MaD Arts & Culture Manager, has been requested to join the Arts, Heritage and Culture expert panel, to ensure the plans for the vision include provision and input for young people in the area and the development of a buzzing cultural scene.

Danny, Arts & Culture Manager said, ''We are delighted to have been asked to support the refreshing process of the vision. Wolverton is a great area and more than capable of creating a real vibrant scene aswell as having positive activities for young people. We have proved this through our [MaD] recent delivery of provision in the area. I'm more than happy to be part of the panel.'' Danny will join a team of experts from different sectors including, MK Council's Heritage unit and Heritage Lottery Fund UK.
