MaD youth action team |
MaD YAT stands for Make a Difference:Youth Action Team. Its a group made up of about 15 young people aged between between 16-25 who are all signed up as volunteers with Make a Difference.
We aim to encourage volunteering and promote youth empowerment! We hope to voice young people's views in Milton Keynes. We work closely with the Make a Difference team to ensure young people are consulted and have the opportunity to input into all aspects of the company. We represent all the young people signed up to Make a Difference and act as ambassadors for youth volunteering in MK.
What we do...
The YAT works with the Make a Difference crew in a number of ways, to ensure young people are consulted and included on the highest levels of the company.
- Interviewing new staff
- Planning events
- Recruiting more volunteers
- Promoting youth volunteering across the city and beyond
- Inputting to company policies and procedures
